Most of my CRAZY STORY

Crazy Faith Designs unofficially began in 2014 when I took over creating sermon slides for my pastor, Pete Underwood. I quickly realized that I could use my skills to help others in a similar way, planting the seed for what would eventually become this ministry.

Fast forward to 2021, while living in Nashville, I came up with the name Crazy Faith Designs. However, life’s demands, like the need to pay bills (being an adult isn’t always fun), kept me from pursuing it full-time. My wife and I eventually moved back to our hometown of Bogalusa, Louisiana, to support her parents. It was there that I designed the original Crazy Faith Designs logo, which you can see in my logo portfolio. With the logo in place, I launched our social media profiles in December 2022, initially focusing on promoting our local church and assisting with a few projects for other churches and events.

Although I wasn’t fully committed to Crazy Faith Designs at first, God had other plans. He placed the ministry on both my wife’s and my heart, guiding us to take a leap of faith. After many prayers and heartfelt conversations, we felt called to move to Texas, specifically East Texas, to pursue this ministry full-time. At first, I hesitated and continued doing gig work like DoorDash and Instacart. After a few months of not seeing much success, my wife reminded me why we moved to Texas: Crazy Faith Designs. So, I left the gig work behind and dove headfirst into the ministry.

Almost immediately, doors began to open. I started receiving a paycheck from a local church and took on design work for a church member's business. Looking back, I see God's hand guiding every step, even from before our move to Nashville. He provided for us in ways we never imagined, from turning my wife’s temporary job into a full-time remote position to transitioning me from physically demanding jobs that weren’t good for my back to working from home doing what I love.

I know without a doubt that none of this would be possible without God. I love what I do; it brings me joy and fulfillment. I may not be the one speaking from a stage, but as 1 Peter 4:10 says, God has given me a gift, and I want to use it to serve others. Whether it's pastors, preachers, ministries, churches, or church members with a podcast or business that puts Jesus first, my mission is to use my talents to help them shine.

Crazy Faith Designs is more than a business—it's a calling. Through my designs, I strive to spread the message of hope, faith, and the love of Jesus Christ. My passion is to create visuals that not only look beautiful but also inspire and uplift. With every project, I seek to glorify God and support those who share the same mission. Together, with a little bit of crazy faith, we can make a big impact for His Kingdom.
